KraLos GmbH receives US patent for security-focused system architecture WEBOUNCER
US Patent No. US 12,547,776 confirms secure-by-design approach for web-based applications
Burgdorf, January 31, 2026 – KraLos GmbH announces that the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) has granted a US patent for the WEBOUNCER security platform. The patent is listed under number US 12,547,776 and protects the underlying architectural approach of the solution. WEBOUNCER pursues a consistent secure-by-design approach, in which security is implemented not as a downstream measure, but as an integral part of the system architecture. The patented technology is based on a digital image of the protected application and enables attacks to be structurally detected, isolated, and repelled – before they affect productive systems. The focus is on a preventive security architecture that combines various protection mechanisms such as web application protection, DDoS defense, attack simulation, anomaly detection, self-healing mechanisms, and continuous system monitoring in a consolidated platform. This allows security gaps to be identified at an early stage and attack surfaces to be minimized at the design and architecture level. “The US patent confirms our approach to rethinking cybersecurity from the ground up,” explained the management of KraLos GmbH. “WEBOUNCER is not a single security tool, but rather a Security-focused system architecture. For us, secure by design means less complexity, fewer dependencies, and significantly higher resilience to modern attack scenarios. The patent grant strengthens KraLos’ international protection position and underscores WEBOUNCER’s technological independence, particularly with regard to critical infrastructures, regulated industries, and security-relevant web applications. At the same time, it creates a solid foundation for further market expansion in the US and for strategic partnerships.
